Title:  Easy Crockpot Vegetable Soup    

 

Ingredients:

 

1 pound boneless round steak (cut into 1/2" cubes)

1 can diced tomatoes (14 ounces, undrained)

3 cups water

2 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed

2 medium diced onions

3 celery ribs, sliced

2 carrots, sliced

3 beef bullion cubes

1/2 teaspoon dried basil

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon pepper

1 1/2 cups mixed frozen vegetables

 

Directions:

 

In a slow cooker combine the first 12 ingredients.  Cover and cook on high for six hours.  Add vegetables; cover and cook on high two hours more or until the meat and vegetables are tender.  Makes about eight to 10 servings or 2 1/2 quarts.  (For a variation the round steak can be marinated with a meat seasoning such as Misty's from Lincoln, NE.)
