Title:  Easy Crockpot Chicken    

 

Ingredients:

 

Two to 3 pounds of boneless skinless chicken breasts

Two cans Campbell’s cream of chicken soup

One small can of Swanson’s chicken broth (optional) http://www.swansonbroth.com/ourproducts.aspx

One bag of Ore-Ida “Steam n Mash” Russet potatoes http://www.steamnmash.com/

Salt and pepper to taste

 

Directions:

 

Place chicken breasts in a crockpot along with one (or two depending on number of chicken breasts) cans of cream of chicken soup.  Cook on high for four to five hours or on low for seven to eight hours.  (When cooking all day you might want to start the crockpot on high for an hour or so and then turn it to low.)  Microwave the OreIda “Steam n Mash” Russet potatoes and prepare mashed potatoes according to the instructions on the package.  Optional:  Pour one small can of Swanson’s chicken broth in a skillet and make a gravy using flour and water (strained to avoid clumping).  Mix the prepared gravy with the crockpot gravy.
